Hyderabadi Dum Vegetable Biryani

This is an authentic Hyderabadi delicacy and is an integral part of the Mughlai cuisine. It has unique flavours and amazing taste and is pretty spicy. This Biryani is actually cooked in layers. This Biryani is cooked using the famous dum method of cooking. This is an authentic Hyderabadi vegetarian delicacy. It is cooked in a pot and then placed on dum and the lid is sealed tightly. The mutton pieces are cooked to perfection and are really tender and delectable. Awadhi or Lucknow Biryani

Lucknowi Biryani is a superb flavoursome rice dish which is very popular in Lucknow and Delhi. It originated in the Mughal era. Layered Basmati rice and chicken or mutton is cooked with amazing spices. However, in Lucknowi Biryani only saabut or full spices are used and ground spices are not used at all. It is served very much sealed in a pot or handi. This biryani is definitely less spicy than the classic Hyderabadi version and is light on your stomach.
