What our customers say
Their biryani is outstanding and easily one of the best places for biryani in the south-east of Melbourne. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Indian food!
Service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. No complaints at all everything was on point from start to finish.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Indian food. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
5/5 buriyani
5/5 dosa
5/5 curries
5/5 indo chinese food
If they could have some indian music in the background it would be a nice ambience
Overall always a good experience
The service at Dosa Hut was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The team member named Harneet is very sweet and friendly -ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience thanks to their excellent customer service.
the food is okay, but the customer service is great. On a busy day will have to wait at least 30 minutes to get your order.. if you are taking away, it’s better to ring up first then check the timing.
Ample of parking spaces behind the restaurant check your driving skills if you’re arriving on weekend .
Would recommend for a quick grab
The floors need a bit of cleaning as the are bit oily.
It is our go to place for a dinner almost once a month. Highly recommend the Gongura biriyani.
I got the roti to dip into the dishes. I didn’t really like it a lot. It’s kinda ok the flaky side and somewhat thick. It didn’t really have too much flavour and texture wasn’t that good.
The goat masala was pretty good. It’s got a nice flavour, soft tender meat. There’s even bone marrow in there which tasted sweet, kind of like lamb fat that’s been rendered well. It’s a nice spicy, savoury dish for the roti.
The palak paneer is my favourite one. It’s chunky, has quite a fair bit of paneer in it. It’s really savoury and tastes amazing even by itself.
The butter chicken wasn’t my favourite. It was more like a chicken curry, it’s not sweet, just savoury which was alright. The chicken was tender though and still decent.
Overall it’s a pretty good place. I liked some of the dishes more than the other. Some of the items can be pretty pricey as well.
