The cheesy naan bread is still living rent-free in my mind! Absolutely sensational. The customer service was also fantastic with the young lady who waited on us - being so obliging!
Ambience inside the restaurant is warm and inviting. I think they offer catering as a big company - I have seen a few branches on my travels into town but I never knew we had one right here in Melton! 🤗💃
Hubby & I shared the goat curry & butter chicken here and we asked for mild spice for both... Hoo hooo!!! let me tell you that the 'mild' here at Dosa Hut is no joke! 😤🥳 They bought intense flavour & heat! Most definitely & it seemed to gradually build with every mouthful, even the butter chicken! Had to wash down the spice with some mango Lassi 🤣 but we enjoyed every spoonful along with the deliciously cheesy, cheesy naan. I cannot tell you how awemazing their cheese naans were.
My hubs and I were the only one's dining in, so this could explain the quality we received. I'd honestly love to know how the food would be like in a full house because if they serve that same quality in a packed house - wowsers...I'll be a customer for life. This is saying a lot because I've tried a few Indian places in Melton, and there's not been great memories. This place, however... sensational is an understatement & we will definitely be back!

Room for improvement in the time taken to serve dishes and the order of service (side dish came about 15 minutes before the main).
But staff were kind and well be happy to head back there.
The ambience is good, although I do not understand the playing of Punjabi music in a restaurant that is selling Indian food from all parts of the country.
The customer service is friendly and top-notch.
I ordered Minti Mess and Jaljeera. Both the drinks were good. However, my favourite is the Minti Mess, maybe because of the taste of mint that was so refreshing.
For starters, I had the sambar vada. The sambar was fantastic but the vada needs to be a bit more crunchy (inside too). It was nice and crispy outside; without being overcooked. Also, it was seasoned correctly.
For mains, I had the rava dosa and the plain dosa. I love the peanut chutney and the slightly tangy chutney that accompanied both the dosas, along with a generous serve of sambar.
If you like, they do have fresh sapotta juice and mango lassi. But I did not feel like both on the night that we were there, last week.
On the whole, the food, customer service, ambience and range in food options that are from South India and North West India are excellent.
