As the name suggests, we started off operations with a limited menu, primarily comprising different Dosas from the southern regions of India and a few other dishes. But over time, we have now expanded our menu to include specialties from different regions of India, making us a true Indian multi-cuisine restaurant in Parkwood. In fact, we are known to be the pioneers of the Dosa culture in Australia, and have grown to become one of the most loved chains of Indian restaurants today.

There are many reasons for our growth and success, all of which are rooted in the commitment and passion of our founders, Anil Kumar Karpurapu and Praveen Indukuri. Both Anil and Praveen were Indian telecommunication students in Australia when they decided to start a small venture to offer authentic South Indian food here. Their commitment and dedication to create an authentic and pleasurable experience for customers paid off, as Dosa Hut went from being a small South Indian food venture to a full-fledged multi cuisine Indian restaurant brand, with one of the widest varieties of Indian dishes on its menu. Our menu now features regional favourites from both north and south India, street food specialties in the form of yummy Chaats, Biryanis as well as the fusion favourites in Indo-Chinese.
