Dosa Hut is the result of a dream fuelled by love and commitment. It all started off in 2007 when two hardcore foodies, Anil Kumar Karpurapu and Praveen Indukuri, two telecommunications students from India decided to start a small venture to offer authentic South Indian cuisine to the local community. The key intention was to recreate the traditional flavours of their home country to satiate the deprived taste buds of the local Indian community. In fact, Dosa Hut has earned the reputation of being the pioneers of the Dosa culture in Australia. What started off as a passionate venture has today become Australia’s fastest growing chain of Indian multi-cuisine restaurants, with over 24 branches across the globe in the short span of just 5 years.

Becoming a Foodie’s Paradise

We started off with a limited menu of Dosas and Biryanis, but as we started gaining more popularity, we started introducing more Indian dishes from different parts of the country in our menu, keeping traditional tastes in mind.
